A Message from the Masters by Sharon Taphorn ~ Meditation

Meditation has many purposes and is what helps those who are wishing to strengthen their connection with the unseen forces of light and to help you navigate with confidence as you go about your lives completing the goals and tasks you have set up for yourself to experience.

Set up a regular meditation practice for yourself. Everyday is the best prescription and you can do so when you are out walking, in nature, sitting by a stream, or in a special place that you have set up for yourself. To create a sacred space for yourself when you are just beginning is often helpful as it lets your cells know that when you go there, the next step will be your connection with your spirit self and it will help you reach the vibrational state you desire for yourself more quickly. Pick a time when you won't be disturbed and keep at it until you receive what you desire. For some of you this is very easy, for others it is more challenging as you have not learned to release your thoughts or the mental world to quiet itself and that it is okay to reach this state once again.

Keep trying and don't give up, you are worth it and it will bring much to your world. It can help you find the answers that you seek, the next step to take, what the path ahead that you have chosen looks like or the probable outcome of a choice. It can help you to heal, to rejuvenate and energize. It helps you to expand your sensory system and to understanding more deeply the meaning of your life. It is you expanding your connection to your soul self and that will assist you in your expansion.

When you have a regular meditation practice it helps you with new psychic and spiritual experiences that in turn change the way you view life, the Universe, and everything around you. Allow these spiritual gifts to open for now is the time to develop and trust your skills, study through prayer and meditation and gather information to help you navigate your future for soon you will be synthesizing all of your knowledge and put it into action to help yourself and your world to live in a better way with each other and all that is.

Create that sacred space. Play some music that speaks to you at a deeper level. Light a candle, and say a prayer. A prayer is setting the intent of that which you wish to experience, clarify, or understand. Prayer is the asking. Meditation is the answering. It is the place where you can go for so very many things. The only bad meditation is the one you didn't do, for there truly are no wrong ways, there are many ways to connect with the Divine with you and Divine of All that is. Find ones that work for you or get you started and make a commitment to yourself to do it every day and you will get there.

A simple technique to help you to suspend the conscious thoughts of your five sensory systems and expand your awareness on your '6th' senses is to quiet your thoughts, slowing your breathing and relaxing your body. In other words, you are taking the time to go beyond the 5 physical senses and enter into  the space of the great void, beyond the confines of time and space. Meditation can help you to calm the 'noise' of your own thoughts and gives you that much needed time out from all that is happening around you.

When you first begin to meditate we do not recommend that you lie down or use a recliner as it is easy to fall asleep. You are consciously choosing to slow your brain waves and go deeper and that is also what you do when you go to sleep. The state you want to reach is the one before you go into that sleep state and sitting up, with your back straight, will help you and the flow of energy through you as well.

Make yourself comfortable and wear loose and comfortable clothing. Close your eyes, and focus upon your breath. Take slow deep breaths and imagine that each of those in-breaths are filled with the finest and best oxygen molecules and that each exhale releases unwanted thoughts, feelings, and energy. With each in-breath imagine that every cell in your body is being cleansed and refilled with this loving light and relax your body.

If you find yourself drifting off, or random thoughts distracting your, simply begin to focus on your breath and how this wonderful breathing makes you feel and know that you can pick up whatever it is you need when you are done your meditation and continue on with your day.

This can help to get you started. There are no limits to what you can achieve through meditation. There are no limits to what you can create or experience. Make meditation a part of your life and your spiritual practice. Start doing it and don't stop. It will change your life. As little as 10 minutes a day will produce results. Do this twice a day and you will experience profound and wonderful changes in all areas of your life. You are worth it and the time it takes to do this for you will be rewarded tenfold.

And so it is

You are dearly loved and supported, always, the Masters
